Why This Is Important to Me
Over the course of my 25 years as a fashion, beauty and editorial portrait photographer, more than 80% of my clients and subjects are women. I am proud of the fact that over 70% of my social media audience are women and women-owned brands. I couldn’t do what I do without recognizing and honoring what that means, and giving back to organizations that help support and create the strong confident females this world needs.
Ophelia’s Place is dedicated to empowering female-identified youth, providing them with the tools, support, and confidence to grow into strong adults and future leaders. Their proactive approach to building resilience, fostering self-worth, and creating safe community spaces directly contributes to preventing cycles of domestic violence and inequity.
That mission aligns perfectly with my own: to showcase women as empowered individuals through the imagery I create. Supporting Ophelia’s Place isn’t just about giving back — it’s about investing in the future of the very people who shape and inspire my work every day.
Support Beyond the Gala
In addition to directly supporting Ophelias Place with imagery and activities, I have several services I offer for which a portion of my fees go directly to financial support for OP. I also offer discounted sponsored sessions and things like book one/give one headshot days where updating your company headshots and branding images can sponsor a day of empowering photoshoots or photography education workshops for OP/WACY girls.
